We’re an established foodservice company focused on being a blessing to our customers and our team members.  Our Accounting Manager executes & leads our Payroll, Accounts Payable, Inventory, Fixed Assets and various Treasury management functions for multiple companies.  Because this position is so critical to our team, our ideal candidate is both collaborative and detailed, with an eye for managing details, a heart for hitting deadlines, and a desire to be a blessing to others while doing so. 

What you’ll work on.

  • Provide leadership and invest in team members’ development and growth.
  • Oversee direct reports’ activity in payroll, accounts payable and inventory.
  • Direct all activities related to monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings including the year-end audit.
  • Prepare, review and submit monthly financial statements.
  • Oversee processing of the Company’s payroll and cash disbursements; back-up to both.
  • Provide accurate and timely communication, reporting and support to all functional areas’ management regarding inventory, payroll, accounts payable and general accounting activities.
  • Forecast short-range cash requirements and liabilities, as a basis for maintaining adequate funds to meet all Company obligations.
  • Reviews all balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Maintain complete and accurate financial records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, ensuring transparency of business results through timely communication and reporting to all functional areas’ management
  • Drive continuous improvement.  Participate in and/or drive system projects when needed.

 What you must have to succeed.

  • 5+ years of general accounting, payroll and inventory experience and management of same.  CPA preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • Experience with Accounting systems (Microsoft Dynamics Great Plans and Quickbooks preferred)
  • Be energetic, flexible, results-oriented & proactive
  • Be able to present well orally and in writing
  • Strong leader with intent to build relationships, solve problems and productively solve issues
